This ministry trains individuals appointed by our pastor to distribute the Eucharist (bread or wine) at Mass. Newly appointed ministers attend a training session, which lasts about an hour, and are supplied a "Guidelines for Service" handbook.

Each minister serves at approximately one Mass per month, and is asked to arrive 20-30 minutes before the Mass begins. A brief Eucharistic Minister "Chat Session" is held monthly, which allows us to promptly address questions or problems that may arise. A review of skills for active ministers is held annually, lasting 45 - 60 minutes.

Parishioners who may wish to share their faith by participating in the Mass as a Eucharistic Minister are welcome to discuss joining this ministry with either the Pastor or Deacon.
