The mission of the Giving Tree Ministry is to provide Christmas gifts to children and teens in need through the Marlborough Food Cupboard -- Holiday Helper Program. We assemble ornaments with each child’s name, age and desired gift. The ornaments are decorated then placed on Giving Trees at the church entrances during Advent. Parishioners select an ornament, purchase gifts, and place unwrapped items under the trees. During this time we also ask for donations of gift wrapping, bows, and boxes. Gifts are then delivered to the Walker Building in Marlborough for distribution.

Communication for this project is via email and through bulletin announcements. We begin the process in early November and the gifts are delivered in mid-December. Anyone wishing to help those in need or to brighten a child’s Christmas morning is welcome!
